Ideas for your Themed Event

Tired of the same old wine and cheese party or elegant sit down dinner? If you answered yes, then look at some of the ideas you can choose for your next themed event. Planning this type of event is a great way to get everyone involved. Most towns have a zoo or some type of museum. Use these venues to create a different themed event for your business associates or clients. If you live where there is a botanical garden you can have an evening under the stars.

When choosing the zoo for your themed event you can use a safari theme. You can have your guests dress as tourists on safari or as the guides. Make sure you have a photographer on hand to record the safari's every detail. Give zoo memberships as thanks for the top employees if your themed event also incorporates an award ceremony. You will not only be giving your employees a great time with this themed event, but you will also be helping the animals. This is a unique experience and one that can be enjoyed by the employees' families too.

Using the museum for your themed event can open up many possibilities. Get your inspiration from the movie "Night at the Museum". You can use some of the corporation's employees to dress as famous people of the times, just like in the movie. Your guests could decide that they would like to participate by wearing costumes as well. As the planner of the themed event it is all up to you. When you decide on the menu try to make it authentic. If your museum has international displays add food items that would be eaten from each country. This will give the overall themed event uniqueness. If this is to be an award type of event you can again give memberships or gifts from the museum.

One last themed event that may be a little different from the rest would be to hold a delightful "Evening under the Stars". This works well if you have a botanical garden in your area, but you can also create one. The decorating is pretty much done for you at the botanical garden, but you can create even more ambience if you add music and a dance floor. Set up canopies with elegantly decorated tables, candles and fresh cut flowers. Twinkling lights can be placed on trees around the dance floor. You could have a steel drum band or a band playing hits from the forties. The menu can be buffet style with a cuisine to match the musical style. If you have to design your own gardens rent a myriad of trees and flowering bushes, then use the same ideas for the dancing and food.

This is just a few of the themed event ideas that you can design for a corporate meeting or award dinner. Casino nights, a tropical cruise or even a disco party could be a themed event that will work for your next extravaganza.
