Martin Coleman
Martin originally learned his craft at Butlins Minehead in the 80’s and later spent four years as resident compere in Barnums, the South West’s leading cabaret venue. He went on to open three highly successful live entertainment venues in Swansea, Cardiff and Stevenage, hosting and DJing huge party-driven nights, presenting hilarious game shows, national competitions and visiting artistes to capacity crowds.
Now freelance, Martin provides his services as host, compere and DJ all over the UK and abroad. With satisfied clients including Microsoft, Blackberry, Polydor and O2, he has entertained stars including Alesha Dixon and Ricky Gervais and worked with everyone from Al Murray to Spandau Ballet and from Jason Donovan to Take That!
Martin has also been commissioned to write and produce bespoke game shows for P&O Cruises, Butlins and most recently, Gaymers Cider. He is still regularly invited back to Minehead where, in 2009 he hosted the ‘Butlins Long Service Awards’.
